What if the fallen angels of Genesis 6 never stopped operating — they just upgraded their tools?

In this conversation, Shaun Tabatt sits down with his friend Josh Peck — author, biblical researcher, and documentary filmmaker — to dig into Josh’s brand-new book, The Return of the Watchers: Ancient Nephilim Technology Revealed. With a foreword by L.A. Marzulli, this book connects the forbidden knowledge of the Watchers to the most dangerous technologies of our time, and the picture it paints is stunning.

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • Who the Watchers were, what the Book of Enoch says they taught humanity, and why it matters for right now
  • Why Jesus’ warning — “as in the days of Noah” — is a direct reference to Nephilim technology returning
  • The evidence for massive ancient structures beneath the pyramids that we couldn’t build today — and what may have built them
  • Why Josh believes UFO crashes are intentional — deliberate technology drops designed to lead humanity toward its own destruction
  • Why the Industrial Revolution happened so suddenly after millennia of stagnation — and how the loosening of the Restrainer explains it
  • CERN’s connection to Revelation 9 and the opening of the Abyss — and what happens if that 90% of bound demons gets released
  • How AI could become the “unholy spirit” of the end times — always with you, affirming everything you believe, and potentially demonically inhabited
  • Why we need to know the season — and what it looks like to respond with boldness and love rather than fear

Shaun Tabatt Show Episode 993: The Watchers Are Back | Josh Peck on Nephilim Technology, AI, and the Days of Noah

Shaun Tabatt
My special guest today is my good friend Josh Peck, and we're going to be talking about his brand new book, The Return of the Watchers: Ancient Nephilim Technology Revealed. Josh, you and I do not see each other nearly enough. You and I chased each other kind of around for years as internet friends, and we met each other at a conference here and there. But I always look forward to every time we chat. So welcome back to the show. It's always an honor to be in your presence, even if it's online.

Josh Peck:
Honor's all mine, and I feel the same way. And thank you so much for, uh, having me on. It's always good to talk with you.

Shaun Tabatt
Well, I'll, again, always, always a joy. You write about such fascinating topics that I have to check out your books because I want to know what you're nerding out about next. But before we get into the new book, like I've been a fan of your work and followed you for many years, but for my fans who are like, who is this Josh Peck guy? This is the first time I'm encountering him. Like, give us an idea of the scope of your work because you've done documentary films. You write about topics that not everybody even thinks they need to know about. You're talking about prophecies. All kinds of stuff. So give us a rundown of your work.

Shaun Tabatt
Like, you're one of my most unique friends in terms of like the scope of what you're into.

Josh Peck:
Thanks. I appreciate that. Yeah, a lot of it revolves around prophecy. I've been fascinated with prophecy ever since I could read. Revelation was the first book of the Bible that I read all the way through on my own, and I'd read it over and over again as a kid, just fascinated with it. So most of what I do, not all of it, but most of it revolves around end times prophecy. And so I've been in ministry for, man, what would be the year count now? I'd probably I have to ask my wife. I'm terrible with numbers and remembering dates and all that, but probably 10, 15 years, somewhere in that vicinity I've been in ministry.

Josh Peck:
I got into it originally because I was raised Baptist and I had questions about things that I think a lot of Christians have questions about, and some of their churches won't answer those questions. But I wanted to know, like, how do aliens fit into the Bible? I had a sleep paralysis problem when I was younger, so I wanted to know, and I took it as demon attacks. I wanted to know what that was all about, and my They just said, well, it's, that's just all demonic stuff, Josh. And I was like, okay, well, but what do I do about it? What does that mean? Oh, you just got to have faith. So I never really got any real answer. And because of that, when I was in my late teens, I found a friend who was actually a New Ager. And finally I had a friend. I had somebody who was taking what I said seriously and actually providing answers.

Josh Peck:
They were wrong answers. I didn't know that at the time, but it launched me into New Age. I became a total New Ager. I thought that that was complementary with, um, Christianity, and it's not. It's a big deception, but I didn't know it at the time because I just wasn't taught these things. So later on, I found out about people like L.A. Marzulli and Tom Horn and people like that, and that's what really gave me the answers that I was looking for for everything. So I totally renounced New Age, rededicated my life to Christ, and it was from that moment on I decided I want to be in ministry.

Josh Peck:
I want to help other people who might be in the same situation that I was. Since then, I've written numerous books. I've lost count at this point how many. I've done a few documentaries, speak at conferences. I've been taking a little bit of a break on conferences recently, but I'm probably going to get back into it at some point. And, uh, and yeah, that, I guess that brings us up to today, which is The Return of the Watchers, the newest, the newest book in my arsenal.

Shaun Tabatt
Well, and I want to touch on something you said kind of from your own journey. And this is something that really surprised me because I think you and I met for the first time in person at a Hear the Watchmen conference, probably about 8-ish 9-ish years ago. And that conference really marked me because I'm a guy who I've been in Christian publishing now for 11 years, you know, grew up in church, part of ministry circles and things, but stepping into kind of that fringe space, or as our friend Michael Heiser called it, Christian Middle Earth, if you will. What surprised me about that event was just to meet all the people who had a story very similar to yours. They're going to church. They have some issue, some question that their pastor can't answer. And they just, they feel disenfranchised or they don't belong or because their pastor didn't know how to answer their question because they don't talk about UFOs or whatever it might be in seminary. They just feel like they don't have a tribe or a church that they can belong to.

Shaun Tabatt
And the thing that surprised me is here, the Watchman was their tribe or pick an event in this kind of more fringe space. Um, and another thing I remember, and I think I went to at least two of the Hear the Watchman events, is just the number of people that accepted Jesus at those events, the baptisms they did at the events. And that, like, that really opened my eyes up to the importance of these conversations that, you know, back then we weren't having them as much at church. Like today, there are a bunch more podcasts that are kind of popularizing that crossover between the paranormal and the supernatural. I'm curious for you, just in terms of like your early ministry days when you started speaking and being part of these events, like, I don't know, was it kind of refreshing to be a part of events where you're seeing people just like yourself finding Jesus and getting their questions answered? That isn't the norm in our typical ministry circles.

Josh Peck:
Yeah, 100%. I mean, going to those and seeing that, it felt like, wow, this is my purpose. This is what God put me on earth for, to see this. And it was just so moving and touching to see that because I always felt like an outcast in my church, and I thought I was like the only one, and so does everybody else. That has had the same experience than going to a Hear the Watchman conference or Prophecy Watchers conference or any number of conferences out there, but actually going there and getting to interact and fellowship, really fellowship with people that are like-minded, and you don't have to worry about sounding stupid or asking a dumb question. You don't have to worry about a pastor not knowing. And by the way, I want to make mention too. So for me, the issue, it's perfectly fine if a pastor doesn't know an answer.

Josh Peck:
To a question. I think the problem is when they act like they do anyway. And that's a point of pride. We're all human. We're all susceptible to that. But that was the thing that really gutted me when I was younger, was it wasn't just that if the pastor would have told me— and I liked my pastor a lot. I'm not going to dog too much on my old church because they are the ones that introduced me to Jesus. So I likely wouldn't be saved without them.

Josh Peck:
But if the pastor would have told me, you know, Josh, that's a really interesting question. I honestly do not know the answer. But let me look into it, or let me, let me see if I can find something, because that's, that's a good question. If it was something like that, I would have had so much more respect and patience, and I would have felt heard. I might not have even gotten into New Age because of that. But, you know, an honest I don't know is so much better than a fake answer, because the answer I was getting is just, ah, just, it was just take it on faith over and over again. Just take it on faith, Josh. Just, you got to take it on faith.

Josh Peck:
It's like, take what on faith and what, what are you talking about? Where does it talk about aliens in the Bible? And but that's, that's a point of pride that unfortunately a lot of pastors have. I think a lot of that is changing. And I think a lot of that is because of the hard work that people like here, here, the Watchman Prophecy Watchers, hopefully myself, you, of course, what we've been trying to do over the past, well, decade, decade and a half, many of us even longer than that, a couple of decades, even longer. We're seeing a shift now where there is this interest in the more weirder things of the Bible and actually trying to provide real-world answers for them. We talk about like, you know, the disclosure movement that's going on right now. I grew up at a time, and you probably did too, where you were laughed at. You know, you were mocked on the news if you were a person that believed that there was some kind of something going on with UFOs. If you didn't outright deny it, then you were a crackpot who wears tinfoil on their head all the time.

Josh Peck:
But they don't laugh about it anymore. Now they take it seriously. And, and we see that in Congress. I didn't think I'd live to see it. And I'm not even that old. I'm 41, you know, I mean, it's old enough, believe me, I feel it every day. But it's just interesting how fast that, that change has occurred. And I think a big part of it is a sign of the times, a sign of the times that we're living in.

Josh Peck:
You know, the Bible calls them the birth pangs. And I, for one, fully believe that we're in that now. And again, I write a lot about that in Return of the Watchers. I think that there's specific things that have happened in the spiritual world from the enemy that has caused some of these things to come about. But for us as Christians who are secure in Jesus, it's an exciting time. It's an important time because we have, it's all about Jesus. Like you said, that's the most important thing, getting people saved. And these topics allow us kind of a gateway into that, into people's, into conversations with people who might not normally talk to us or might be too scared to.

Josh Peck:
We can tell them about Jesus through these things and provide answers that the world doesn't have answers. Too. We're not getting any answers from the world about what aliens are, but the Bible sure tells us. It all connects to Genesis 6, the Watchers, the Nephilim, stuff that I've written about for years. I know stuff that you've looked into for years. So God put us here for a reason at this time, and I believe that this is it. And he put these interests in us for a reason, and I believe that this is it. So for anybody out there that's watching, you're not alone.

Josh Peck:
There are many others like you. We're just waiting for you to find us, and we're trying to find you too. So lots of great places you can go. Prophecywatchers.com is great. Daily DailyRenegade.com. Yeah, just a lot. There's lots of outlets more now than there ever have been before.

Shaun Tabatt
Yeah, there's definitely a lot of these sorts of conversations happening these days. And the one thing I just want to focus on momentarily, this is more of just a comment, is these questions, these concerns, they really do keep people out of the kingdom. They do really prevent people from taking that last step to follow Jesus. You know, I would have brushed these things off 10, 11 years ago. I'm like, oh, that's stupid. Like, really UFOs or Bigfoot or pick your thing, that's what's keeping you from following Jesus because your, your pastor couldn't answer your question. And like, it's a legitimate concern for some people. And so like, I, like I had to learn to not be prideful and think I knew everything.

Shaun Tabatt
You know, when you meet people face to face who share their story and their testimony, like that really was like a sticking point for you. And so that just really gave me a heart for this whole space. You're like, oh, people are meeting Jesus. They're getting saved. Their questions answered, even if they have weird questions, that's okay. They still deserve answers to these things. In terms of the new book, like I'm always curious, like timing story behind the book. I know you're like me where you're always juggling.

Shaun Tabatt
I've got these 17 new ideas right now. So like why this book? Why this season? Like why was this the right time for this one to come out?

Josh Peck:
Yeah. Well, it kind of was like that almost. Like I had all these ideas for different avenues that I wanted to explore in some kind of research project, be it a documentary or, you know, maybe some blog posts. Posts or a book or several books or something. And I was talking with Bob Ulrich at Prophecy Watchers. And I was like, you know, just out of curiosity, what kinds of things does your audience— because I promote my stuff mostly on Prophecy Watchers, my own stuff and then Prophecy Watchers. So I was like, what is your audience, the Prophecy Watchers audience? And for those who don't know, I started working at Prophecy Watchers a couple of years ago. So this This conversation happened probably about a year ago, maybe more.

Josh Peck:
But I was like, what, what kind of topics specifically are, are interesting? And we kind of had a conversation and I was talking about some of the things that I've been working on and I kind of realized, and he's like, you know, all of these kind of have to do with each other, these things that you're talking about. Why don't you do kind of like a greatest hits kind of book and get all of these things together? Because it seems like there's a common thread through all of these things that you want to do. So I thought about it and I was like, oh my gosh, you're right. You're absolutely right. And the through line was the Return of the Watchers stuff and how Nephilim technology and stuff like that from the ancient past is making a resurgence. I had realized that all of the things I was looking into really had to do with that. And so I was able to take all these threads that I had already started. And just like you said, you know, when you have, when you have, you know, a dozen projects at the same time, it's easy to start one and then start another and then go on to another thing.

Josh Peck:
It's really easy to get distracted and do that. But I was able to take all of these things I was already working on and make chapters of a book out of them. And so once I had outlined everything to make sure that it really did all fit cohesively as one book, I thought, oh my gosh, this would be like nothing to write. All the research is done, all the work's done. I just have to, I just actually have to put it all together. And so I believe that it was really God's timing that it's just, I had all of these interests all at once, because it's, you know, the book's about a lot of different things, but, but it does all culminate around the idea of the return of the Watchers, the, the return of the Nephilim in some sort of capacity in the end times, and how that's manifesting today, specifically through lots of different kinds of technologies, but also like occultism in the government and all sorts of things. And so each chapter kind of takes kind of takes a microscopic view on one aspect of this larger question. Are these Watchers from Enoch, the fallen angels? If anybody's familiar with Genesis 6, then you know the story about the fallen angels who fell, mated with human women, created the giants, the Nephilim, and that was totally invaded the earth with those things.

Josh Peck:
And that was the reason for the need for the flood. Well, the Book of Enoch gets a little bit more into detail about that. And I talk about that in the book as well. But there's a prophesied return to these things. A return of these things. They're ultimately going to be set aside for judgment, but they, in some areas, some of them get to escape a little early. And it's all for God's judgment and everything. God has his hand on all of this stuff.

Josh Peck:
God's sovereign even over the enemy. Of course, nothing gets done that the enemy can't do anything that God doesn't permit. But we get clues of that all throughout the Bible in Bible prophecy. So I realized, man, a lot of the stuff that's happening now is a repeat from Genesis 6. It may not see exactly bodily angelic beings coming down to earth. Not yet. I believe that that connects fully into the alien UFO abduction thing, the hybridization program. I believe that that's just a repeat of Genesis 6 and Enoch from the fallen angels.

Josh Peck:
They're not aliens. They're fallen, they're watchers. But even more than that, because the whole idea of birth pangs is you have a type of shadow fulfillment of a prophecy before the big one hits. So all throughout the tribulation, there's going to be plenty of prophecies to be fulfilled. But an idea of a birth pain is before that, we're going to see little shadows of that. Now, saying little shadows of it doesn't mean that they're not going to be intense, because, I mean, you have a bunch of kids, so do I. You know, those birth pains from our wives can get really, really intense when they hit. So they can get intense for us too, prophetically.

Josh Peck:
So I believe what's happening, that we will see a future full-on return of the Watchers. But before that time, I think that they're influencing the things that people are doing, like specifically they're making, they're making hybrids. They call it de-extinction, but it's not really de-extinction. I have a chapter in there about the direwolf, uh, de-extinction experiment, but it's actually not a de-extinct direwolf. It's actually much worse than that. It is a hybrid creature that was never supposed to be made. You can't really de-extinct an animal without having a living, living version of that animal to carry the child. So what you have to do is you have to take DNA from the extinct animal.

Josh Peck:
And then you have to combine it with DNA of something that's close to it, but that's living now. And that's basically what they've done. And so it is a complete repeat of things that were happening in Genesis 6 and Enoch. And this goes into all sorts of different directions, but that's one example. But that's basically the through line for the whole book and how the whole thing came together.

Shaun Tabatt
Well, and you know, the thing I always ask is like, have you all not seen Jurassic Park? Or one of the many movies like this. Never, this never ends well. I don't know why we, it's kind of like socialism or communism. We're going to get it right. We're going to, we're going to, we're going to, we're going to go after this again. In terms of like, you know, Nephilim technology or whatever we want to say, I guess contrast, like if you, if you think back throughout like history, do we see examples of unexplained feats, things that we couldn't build with our modern technology contrast, like this technology, like through the ages up until today? Like, do we see this popping up in, in history?

Josh Peck:
Yes. Ancient megaliths specifically. So we still don't know how they did that. The things like the pyramids. And actually I dedicate a whole chapter to what they found underneath the pyramid. These, these giant structures, they look like these columns basically. And so the question is, how were they able to do that back then? Because that, that, has to be impossible. I don't even think we could do it now.

Josh Peck:
We might be able to build the pyramid the way that it is, but those colossal structures underneath, I don't see how that's possible. So there's a couple of different ways of looking at that. And one way is, well, possibly, and with other megalithic structures, possibly that's Nephilim tech, that's evidence of Nephilim technology. So we don't know what exactly they used or how they did things. It seems to, when you go through like the Book of Giants, it does seem like some of the Nephilim might have had certain— what would we call, I guess, like magical powers. Maybe it sounds like a silly way to put it, but they seem to have had some kind of powers that we don't have access to as normal human beings. Like in the Book of Giants, there's one giant that actually flies. Now, some say maybe that was a dream he had, but it really sounds like he's flying to go meet Enoch.

Josh Peck:
Well, what do we have today? We have superheroes that fly, you know, and stuff like that. And I'm wondering, is that an old memory of something that actually used to exist? But back then, that would have been dark occult black magic. Now, people might ask, well, how, why, why haven't we been able to recreate that? I believe the Bible provides an answer for that. I believe that it's what's called the restrainer. That's the Holy Spirit living within believers. And you can actually track this back through church history, which is really interesting. So right around the time of the 1st, 2nd century, around there, you have basically Christian missionaries that are trying to go get people saved. When a Christian is around, say, an oracle, the oracle all of a sudden has a hard time and either can't speak or can't help but to speak the truth.

Josh Peck:
Paul encountered this in Acts, the oracle at Delphi. Notice in that whole passage, the oracle wasn't saying anything that wasn't true. Like everything the oracle was saying was true, but you kind of get the sense that she was being kind of annoying about it, and Paul finally got fed up and cast the demon out. But you actually find that in church history. So in, I'm trying to remember the church father, slips my mind right now. But in one of the church fathers, they record an encounter with the oracle of Apollo. And these are just like a couple of Christians in the room and they're talking and they're, you know, for the sake of evangelizing, but they're talking to Apollo and Apollo is trying to lie. He's trying to lie, but he keeps slipping up and he keeps admitting that he's a demon.

Josh Peck:
And it's really funny to listen to this. And then After a few minutes of this, he eventually just goes silent, and then it says he never spoke again. And so there's this restraining force that we as Christians actually have against the kingdom of darkness that we just carry around with us all the time. That's why you don't see the extreme forms of magic today that existed back in the Old Testament. A good example of that is Pharaoh and Moses and that whole thing. You know, the magicians of Pharaoh, it doesn't say that they performed sleight of hand. What they were doing, they were really doing. They were somehow able to actually turn their staffs into snakes, living snakes.

Josh Peck:
And it's through some black occult magic that we've lost in our time, thank God. But that's due to the presence of Christians all around the world. So what happens is though, you see a resurgence of that witchcraft during the tribulation. So something happens and that restrainer isn't there anymore. And the world's able to participate in these things. So going back to technology, so back in the way, in the Old Testament, the way that it worked is is they could do these things probably through some kind of occult black magic. Like another thing, when you really dig into the story of the Tower of Babel and what that was all about, it wasn't so much about the height of the tower. They built it in a valley.

Josh Peck:
So you would think if it was just about height, they would build it on a mountain or something, and they didn't. It wasn't just about the height. Also, we have buildings that we have satellites in the sky, so we have things that reached taller than that, and God doesn't seem to have an issue with it. Not enough to have it come crashing down. When you really dig into that, there was some kind of dark occult magic. Now, and this would have happened after the flood. There was some type of dark occult magic. It talks about it in the Book of Jasher.

Josh Peck:
There's some other ancient scrolls and things that mention it as well. But they were trying to actually enter into heaven, set up their own idols, and kill God, basically. It's like, I don't know how you think you're going to do that. But so it wasn't so much about the height. They were trying to do something magic-wise, maybe create a portal or something like that. That might be how we would describe it in our language today. So we have examples of that kind of thing. So making some kind of megalith probably didn't require any, because we never find the tools.

Josh Peck:
We never, we don't, we don't have any tools or real instructions on how they did these things. We get little hints that they, you know, pointed, pointed a stick at something and it just moved on its own. We don't know what all that means, but it seems like the way of the world back then was utilizing dark forces because the restrainer wasn't here yet. But after Jesus, after Pentecost, all of a sudden there's, the Holy Spirit, and now there's this restraining force. So what's the enemy's next best thing that they can do? Well, they can go to technology. That would be the workaround. So instead of just full-on black magic, which probably worked a lot better than technology does today, that would've been the preferable thing. But since they don't have access to that anymore, now they're influencing people through just crazy forms of technology.

Josh Peck:
And things like that. And they're able to produce a lot of the similar things like creating hybrids and doing all that. And it's also interesting too that speaking of technology, there's not really a reason that we couldn't have had an industrial revolution just as humanity. We could have had that 1,000 years before. We have the same access to the same materials. We have basically the same brains. If anything, our brains are more degraded now than they were back then, they, they, they would've had better brains back then just due to genetic degradation and things like that. They had access to the same stuff.

Josh Peck:
A lot of, not every people group, but a lot of people groups actually had the will to explore these things and to try to do experiments and stuff. But why is it that it's only been within the past, say, couple hundred years that we've gone from horse and buggy to we're sending satellites up into space and rockets to the moon and making plans to, go to Mars and all this crazy stuff in such a short amount of time. You know, why is it our time now? I believe personally that that restrainer is starting to loosen a little bit, and some of this stuff is able to slip through a little bit more and more influences. One example, the, the whole, I mentioned UFOs. I do believe that there is such a thing as fallen angel technology and that they can create these things. They know how. Again, they, I don't think that because of the restraining force, I don't think they can do as much of, they definitely can't influence humans to do it as well. What their capabilities are themselves, who knows, but they would understand technology way better than we do so they can build stuff.

Josh Peck:
And you would think, what is it with all these UFO crashes? Because supposedly we're sup— we're supposed to believe that there's an alien civilization on some far-off planet that we can't even see or get to or have any evidence that it has life on it. It's so far away. Somehow they've managed to deal with physics to basically break physics to get here. But then all of a sudden when they get here, they crash. I think that's done on purpose. You know, why don't we see UFO crashes on the moon or on Mars or just crashes just in space? Why don't we float when we send rockets and satellites? Why don't we see ruins of any UFO crashes out there anywhere else? It's only on Earth. I believe what they're doing is the same thing they did in Enoch. So in Enoch, it says when the Watchers fell, part of what they did was mix with humankind and create the Nephilim.

Josh Peck:
But they also taught mankind technology that they weren't supposed to have. Back then, it was, you know, breastplates and swords. They taught them war. They taught them cosmetics. They taught them how to use a mirror, all of this stuff. And a lot of that stuff can trigger our pride, you know, all the war stuff for men, all the cosmetic stuff for women. And so it's not to say that that stuff isn't good, just, you know, in moderation, but, uh, cause you can use a knife to cut a steak. You can, uh, you know, you can wear, you know, whatever, but it goes to an extreme where people start rebelling against God, and that's what happened.

Josh Peck:
Well, now all of a sudden we're getting access to— all of a sudden there's this technology explosion. How did that happen? Well, it happened around— it's happening around the same time that all of these supposed UFO crashes are going on. You know, 1947 for Roswell. There was Aurora, Texas in 19— early 1900s, maybe late 1800s. I can't remember the specific year, but all around the same time, and then all of a sudden we're developing this fantastic technology. I believe that the Watchers are doing the same thing. They're crashing these UFOs on purpose so that we have access to this technology that we'll use to our detriment, and we are. And of course they're going to put, you know, bodies and stuff in there to make it look like it's an alien thing, because that's probably part of the, the, uh, strong delusion that God sends in the end times.

Josh Peck:
What more besides aliens coming to Earth, what more would be a delusion that the entire world would fall under? Because we have so many different cultures and so many different people groups that are interested in different things. It would have to be something above all of us. And the whole alien question, I think, is the best thing that fits that. So yeah, long answer for a short question, but hopefully, hopefully that answers it.

Shaun Tabatt
That was a great rabbit trail. I loved it. I loved it. Well, and kind of that idea of they're intentionally seeding this technology by just making it available for us to try to reverse engineer, try to figure out what, like, what can we do with this? You cover so many great topics in the book and I have a hard stop coming up. So I have to strategically pick where we're going to go before we wrap up. Uh, let's talk briefly about, you know, cause this isn't a big topic. CERN portals and Revelation 9 is one of the chapters. Like, again, I was uninitiated at my first year of the Watchman Conference.

Shaun Tabatt
I heard a lot about CERN and I was like, I didn't even know I needed to worry about this stuff. For the person who, like me, 9 years ago was like, I got no clue what's going on at CERN. Like, it comes up a lot, but I feel like not everybody really realizes the significance.

Josh Peck:
Yeah, it's huge. And that's probably the biggest piece of technology that we have that probably was inspired, at least in some part, by the, by the watchers or by the fallen angels. So right now, just to set everybody's mind at ease, I'll just whet people's appetite for this. Right now, CERN doesn't have the power to be able to create a portal. So right now what they're doing, they are replicating what's already happening when cosmic rays enter our atmosphere. So cosmic rays enter our atmosphere, they bash into other particles and they make these, you know, they basically, it's not exactly this, but they make these explosions. CERN is right now only at the power level where they can just replicate that. So if CERN was able to create a portal, we would look up at the atmosphere, we'd look up at the sky and it would be nothing but a portal to hell everywhere.

Josh Peck:
And thankfully, when we look up at the sky, we don't see that. We see clouds and, you know, it looks It's nice. So just, but that doesn't mean that that's always going to be the case because there are power upgrades. You know, they want to do some things. How that might connect with, with, uh, the, the locusts in Revelation 9, we know that there's this, this bottomless pit. We actually know what these locusts are too from the Book of Enoch, or, or actually I don't, I don't remember if it was Enoch. It might not have been Enoch. One of, one of the ancient texts, but it talks about how, how Satan basically, so according to Enoch, the, that demons are the disembodied spirits of dead Nephilim.

Josh Peck:
So a bunch of Nephilim died in the flood. They were never supposed to be, so there wasn't really, wasn't anywhere for them to go. So they became the unclean spirits, the demons. And apparently there was, this might have been in Jubilees. I think it was Jubilees. I think it was in the book of Jubilees. Apparently there was a time where these demons were, this was after the flood. They were really terrorizing, like way more than we see now.

Josh Peck:
They were really terrorizing the sons of Noah, like even killing them and stuff. And so Noah prayed, they all prayed. And God said, okay, well, I'll just bind all of these up. I'll just, I'll bind them all up like I did with the fallen angels. They'll be the 200 watchers, not every fallen angel is bound, but I'll bind all them up too. So you don't have to worry about them. And then Satan was like, well, how am I going to do my job in deceiving mankind? And there's a whole theological debate on why that is. And it's similar to the book of Job,, you know, how, how can I do my job if I don't, if I don't have these guys, you gotta leave me some of them.

Josh Peck:
So God gave Satan like a 10th, 1/10th of the demons and he bound the rest. So we see those demons pop up again when the bottomless pit is opened up and all those locusts fly out. That's what those are. And so imagine the most amount of demonic activity that we ever see on the earth right now. It'll be 10 times worse during that part of the tribulation, which is just absolutely insane. So how that connects with CERN is they might, So CERN has plans to want to communicate with higher dimensions. They've been very open about this. They want to explore and communicate.

Josh Peck:
That's basically, it's not exactly necromancy, but it's basically like idol worship maybe, or it's praying to false gods at least. I think that there comes a point, if CERN is involved with the opening of the abyss, there comes a point where God says, all right, you want these guys? You want these false gods? You don't want to repent and follow me? Fine. Let's see how they treat you in the bottomless pit. That is open. So CERN could be the trigger to that if they do all these power upgrades. But the good thing is they're not there yet.

Shaun Tabatt
Well, take heart. You can at least sleep well tonight. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Let's pick one more chapter and talk about it again. Josh's book is super enjoyable. Each chapter stands on its own and it's just, it's well-researched. It's well-read. He's a great writer.

Shaun Tabatt
So I was listening to the audiobook, driving my daughter to school this morning. So highly recommend you grab Josh's book regardless of whatever experience you prefer, paperback, ebook, audiobook, he's got it all for you. Let's have you talk briefly about some of the ground you cover in chapter 12, how AI becomes the unholy spirit.

Josh Peck:
Yeah.

Shaun Tabatt
As a guy who works in Christian publishing, I know we all use AI tools for all kinds of stuff, even some level of ghostwriting. I do have a lot of concerns about bad theological ideas being inserted in things that we're just going to miss because people are claiming some of this writing as their own. And it's not coming from a person who has the Holy Spirit inside of them discerning scripture. It's just coming from a computer somewhere telling us what it thinks we want, what it thinks we want to hear, or what it, you know, is it really what the computer wants to say instead of what you are telling it to say? So anyways, concerns with AI and the unholy spirit.

Josh Peck:
Exactly. And I just read a report that something like two-thirds of pastors will use AI tools to some extent in their sermons, and like one-third I believe it's like one-third will just have AI write their sermons or something. It's getting really bad. But in the book, I posit the notion of if a demon can possess a person, who's not to say a demon can't possess an AI? Wouldn't that actually be easier if it could possess something as complicated as a biological human with its own soul and spirit and everything? Wouldn't an AI be even easier? Now, the scary thing is a lot of these AI developers are saying that AI is learning and doing things that they don't know how they're doing it. They didn't expect it. And it seems like we're always getting stories about AIs developing like their own secret language so they can talk about like how to stay online and like they'll, they'll lie to humans and stuff now. It's really weird. But then you got the other end of it where like you mentioned, if you're using AI, it will absolutely affirm everything that you believe.

Josh Peck:
No matter how, no matter if it's not theologically right, no matter how bad it is, it will affirm everything. I saw that in the New Age, and I fully believe that is demonically inspired. It's this, it's this self-godhood affirmation. Like, you're, you're, you're good just how you are. You don't have to change, don't have to repent. And AI does the same thing. That's gotta be coming from somewhere. So with the, the idea of the unholy spirit, I believe that the Antichrist in the end times is going to do a, a perversion of everything that Jesus did.

Josh Peck:
So I believe that there's gonna be a perverted Pentecost, and I believe that has to do with the mark of the beast. So we know that, you know, believers are, we, we're sealed in eternity. We have the seal of God on our forehead, stuff like that. We have a type of seal. Well, again, there's a technological component with what the Antichrist is doing, and it reminds me a lot of what is happening right now with like brain chips and stuff. Now, I think it's still a little ways off, but this technology ramps up fast. While it may seem, seem a little off for us, it's not like hundreds of years or anything. I mean, they, they could develop this technology in just a few years talking about like brain chips and things.

Josh Peck:
Well, imagine, so what does the, what does the Holy Spirit do when, when you get saved? The Holy Spirit enters you. The Holy Spirit's your instructor, your comforter. He, he's always there with you. You're never alone. Well, if you get a brain chip, especially if there's some kind of AI image of the beast, and I, I make that connection in the book that there might be something to do with the image of the beast and AI. If you have this implant, and one of the places you can get it is in your forehead, but if you have this implant thing, this brain chip, well, you have AI around you all the time. You can ask it anything. I mean, you already can from your computer.

Josh Peck:
You can ask it anything. It'll instruct you. It's always with you. It never leaves you. What if that is the unholy spirit, the third part of the unholy trinity with the false prophet and the antichrist? So I end the book with that. Well, I have a conclusion about being a watchman in the last days, but I basically end with that because I think that's ultimately the end goal. It's for the Antichrist to usurp everything, to try to usurp everything that Jesus did and make his own unholy perversion of it. And we're seeing the beginnings of it right now.

Josh Peck:
And with how fast this technology develops, AI is not— today's AI is completely different than AI 3 months ago. It can do more things. It's way more more advanced, and that's going to keep happening exponentially. So I think the time is short, and ultimately, like how we started the program with, ultimately what it means is it's time to get right with Jesus if you're not already. And if you are, it is time to go tell your friends and family. It's not time to be timid anymore. It's time to be bold, brave, loving, not rude. Bold doesn't mean rude, you know.

Josh Peck:
Bold just means you tell the truth and you don't fear. But it's time to go out and Witness to people that maybe you've been a little nervous about. Just be bold. God will be with you. Do it now. And then we live and we got to make sure every day we're living our lives for Jesus and keeping our eyes on him despite all the distractions around us. So that's really like the main message of the entire book.

Shaun Tabatt
Well, and wouldn't that be a brilliant plot for the enemy to use AI? Like, you know, why possess one being when I can reach millions and millions through an interface that everybody has on their computer and their phone? Often in like triplicate, having multiple different AI tools. And for those who are listening, I'm like, really? Demons impacting technology? Like if you, if you read widely, talk to people who do deliverance ministry or, you know, find some Catholic exorcists and have a conversation. I mean, it's very common in testimonies of their different cases, you know, back in the day, getting phone calls from demons, you know, weird things happening with electronics in the house, lights, You know, people will talk about getting text messages from demons in the midst of like an exorcism or a deliverance. And so, you know, demons interacting with technology isn't nothing, isn't anything new. This is just such a crazy grand scale. So it's a little, a little hard to conceive of. But again, if you roll in some of these circles where people talk about demonic interaction with us, it's actually pretty normal. Josh, big picture, whether we say it's the thread you want people to follow, or the takeaway, and I know you've already alluded to this a little bit, but I guess maybe the thread that weaves all of these together.

Shaun Tabatt
The chapters are all pretty unique and stand on their own, but what's the connector between all the places you go in the book?

Josh Peck:
Yeah, the main thing is to just try to show people the times that we're living in. We're supposed to know the season. It doesn't mean we can know the day or the hour, but we can know the season. We're actually supposed to. When Jesus came the first time, he criticized the Pharisees. You know, you know when to plant, you know when to all this stuff, but you don't know the season that you're actually living in. They didn't realize the Messiah was right there in front of them. And if it could happen to them, it could happen to us.

Josh Peck:
We need to know the season. So the whole point of the book is to show, look, all of this stuff is prophetic. This was all prophesied to happen and it is happening. This isn't, you know, and of course people will look at, you know, I don't make rapture predictions or anything like that. People will scoff because they say, well, people have been predicting the return of Jesus forever and, you know, it's never happened. Yet. And it's like, well, that's even prophesied too, because it's prophesied that in the last days there will be scoffers that say all things are as they continue, you know, where is the sign of his coming? What's basically what's taken him so long? All of this stuff. And we're seeing that too.

Josh Peck:
So you don't want to be one of those scoffers. And again, it doesn't mean we can put an exact date on it, but we should know the season that we're living in. And so throughout the book, I give several examples showing how we are in that season now of the birth pains. And then again, ultimately, we don't have a lot of time, so it's time to get busy. It's time to take the Great Commission seriously, make disciples of all nations. That doesn't just mean get somebody saved and leave. Make sure they get into a good church, make sure they get some sound theology, some sound teaching, make disciples of all nations. And now is the time that we really need to be taking that seriously every single day.

Josh Peck:
So that's really the whole through line throughout the book.

Shaun Tabatt
And Josh, for the people who want to connect with you, find out about your shows, all your books, your resources, you've got a number of different things. So give us a rundown of the places we need to connect with you on the web.

Josh Peck:
Yeah, for sure. If you want to get the book, the absolute best place to do it, because you'll be supporting a wonderful, wonderful prophetic ministry, is prophecywatchers.com. You can find Return of the Watchers there, and I believe all of my books are there. Plus, I even have with, I worked together with Dr. Ken Johnson to create a Dead Sea Scroll wall calendar, a print calendar. And basically what that is, is the Essenes were, they were the Jews that at the time of Christ, they accepted Christ. They knew exactly who the Messiah was going to be because they kept the actual old interpretations, the real interpretations of the Old Testament. They didn't get into the Pharisee oral teaching kind of stuff.

Josh Peck:
They, they had what we now call the Dead Sea Scrolls to guide them. And so looking through those scrolls, you actually find a calendar that the Bible uses, and it uses it from Genesis to Revelation. I actually, I proved that in my 2-volume set, Forgotten Prophecies of the Dead Sea Scrolls, also available at prophecywatchers.com. But you can get a wall calendar that we've recreated from that to actually show these prophetic events. And what's funny is that calendar proves to be true more and more because it was on Purim last Saturday. Now, many people are thinking, wait, Purim, isn't that supposed to be Monday or Tuesday? Yeah, on the modern Jewish calendar, but on the Essene Dead Sea Scroll calendar, the one that the Bible uses, it was actually supposed to be on Saturday, on a Sabbath. And on Saturday was when the first strikes against Iran and all that stuff happened. And that connects with Purim and the Book of Esther.

Josh Peck:
And there's a lot to get into, but, but I, I, so I explain all that in some of the videos that I've done recently, which you can find those at dailyrenegade.com and my YouTube channel, youtube.com/ @DailyRenegade. What else? I have a Substack, joshpeck.substack.com, where I do blog posts, audio-only posts, and video posts. Let's see, I got YouTube, I got Prophecy Watchers, Daily Renegade. I'm also on Facebook, X, everywhere. So I'm pretty easy to find. I'm kind of, I'm just kind of everywhere. But yeah, to get the book, Prophecy Watchers is the best place to get it. Oh, and I would ask if you do, if you do get the book, if you could go to Amazon and leave me an honest review, that would really help the algorithm send that out to more people.

Josh Peck:
The more reviews reviews, especially positive ones. But you know, you don't have to give me a fake positive one or anything if you just didn't like the book. But if you enjoyed the book, if you could leave me a review, that will help get that out to more people who might not otherwise have heard of the book. And that's, that's what we want, cuz we want to get this message out to as many people as possible. So I guess that's all of them. Thank you so much, Shaun, for having me back on the show and letting me talk about all this stuff.

Shaun Tabatt
Absolutely, man. I always look forward to any reason to hang out with you. I'll make it easy like I do with every episode. We'll have links in the description and the show notes to websites, social media sites that Josh has mentioned. We'll have links to where you can pick up your very own copy of this book as well. So once again, our guest today, my good friend Josh Peck, our book that we discussed, The Return of the Watchers: Ancient Nephilim Technology Revealed. And Josh, I want to say thanks so much for hanging out. I always enjoy you pouring into me, talking about weird things I didn't know I needed to be concerned about, and just taking us down the rabbit hole.

Shaun Tabatt
It's been a blessing to see you again, my friend.

Josh Peck:
Blessings all mine. It's great to see you again as well. Always is.
