About the Book: Though the Holy Spirit has spoken to many in the Body of Christ that we are on the precipice of the greatest revival the world has ever seen, our hearts need to be prepared for a move of God. Preparing for the Great Outpouring: Is Your Heart Ready for A Move of God? addresses ways in which God prepares our hearts individually and corporately for a move of the Spirit. The book delves into six areas that serve as indicators that a vessel is actually prepared for revival.
- Brokenness
- Hunger
- Prayer
- Persistence
- Thankfulness
- Courage
These are the key heart ingredients to the move of God. These indicators have accompanied past outpourings such as the Azusa Street Revival, the Brownsville Revival, and the Toronto Blessing. These essential heart attitudes serve as prophetic signals that our hearts are ready for the end time outpouring that God is about to send to the world!
About the Author: Dr. Charles R. Fox is a native of Brooklyn, New York. He is currently the senior pastor of Christ Community Church (Bowie, MD), founder of Victory Breakthrough Ministries, Inc and co-author of the book, William J. Seymour: Pioneer of the Azusa Street Revival.
Charles taught at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia at the undergraduate and graduate levels where he served the university in a variety of ways such as Faculty Chair of Religious Studies, Director of Urban Outreach, and Director of Field Education.
Charles has a passion for revival and for raising up leaders to do the same things that Jesus did by preaching the gospel, healing the sick, casting out demons, and healing the broken-hearted.
